God sees, God hears, God knows

Exodus 2:23 During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God.
24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
25 God saw the people of Israel-and God knew.

In the days of Israel’s trials, God saw, God heard, and God knew. In our days of trials and sufferings and joys, rest assured that God sees, God hears and God knows. “You have kept count of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?…This I know, that God is for me.” (Ps. 56:8-9)

God sees, God hears, God knows. Above all that, God cares.

  1. Great post and great encouragement. Thanks for leading us in worship yesterday, Brad. What a sweet time! It’s good to know and remember that our God loves and cares for us and is for us. Blessings to you and thanks for writing.

    1. Thanks, Drew. In the midst of trials we can so quickly forget that He who has saved us will never leave us or forsake us. My personal struggle is the “inward eyeballs” that I have, looking only at me and my struggles. When, by God’s grace, I can look out and up, I see Him as He is, caring and loving *and* I see others, who may be suffering far worse than I.
